THE WORLD IS A REALITY SHOW

It's unbelievable the extent to which people can lose their humanity for attention,

I mean harm or illness of even an important citizen wouldn't stop the show from continuation,

All one needs in this world is love and care,

but this program is watched by Him, played by destiny, saved due to trust and lost due to desperation.

Religion is followed as a trend, 

Offence is taken as frequent a the blink of an eye,

People act as if they dont know the concept of truth and lie,

Real concerns like pollution and corruption, sexism and racism, rape and molestation are put on standy,

the  youth are shushed and the teens are left to cry.

The world is a reality show with a lusty host and the society as judges,

The participants are voted by the audience,

On the basis of drama they create and stunts they perform,

I fail to understand why this program has to be a SHOW and not just a lecture or a play.

It is saddening the lust and greed for relevance,

People literally kill each other for significance,

Humans are used as things for more importance, 

We are not full of blood, muscle, or organs...just artificial intelligence.

Here people are hungry for someones downfall and not success,

It is full of hungry hounds who’d feed on embarrassment and failure, 

Its sad that people of this world greed for power, position and possession, and not thoughts ideals or opinions,

I would give up uplifting the uplifted, and educate the literate.

I THINK,  they dont understand my frustation,

 i cant handle this manipulation,

 this world has demeaned itself,

all i can portray to this world is a pitiself.

I HOPE,  this world is a better place to live in after a few decades,

Since its us, with changed minds and liberal thoughts,

Entering into it.

I BELIEVE, this mass of stone we are seated on, 

Is a blessing, a resource, a platform, a stage,

For anyone to project themselves as who they are and not who they ought to be.

This fire in my belly, will never blow out and even if it does...they is so much “enlightment” that i wouldnt need a match to burn it right up.
